The AO End Of Season Awards

Our AO-sponsored End Of Season Awards celebrated the best of Altrincham FC in 2024/25 as we came together as a club after the 1-1 draw with Tamworth on Bank Holiday Monday.

Seven awards and sponsored prizes were handed out across the 45-minute ceremony in a packed Community Sports Hall at The J.Davidson Stadium, with players, staff, volunteers, sponsors and supporters in attendance.

Community Champion

A new award this year and one that could only go to superstar fundraiser Joseph Adams after his running exploits last summer. Congratulations Joseph and thank you for the impact you've had across our local community.

Young Player of the Year

Charlie Olson had a huge impact after joining on loan from Blackburn Rovers in October. A very worthy winner of the fan poll as our star performing under-23 first team player.

Manager's Player of the Year

Leader in assists, second in goals, our creative number 10 Alex Newby was Phil Parkinson's choice for player of the year. Congratulations Alex on a great season.

Goal of the Season

The first goal of the season won out in our fan poll of 15 superb strikes - Tylor Golden, on debut, off the bench with a top bins screamer to win the game against Woking.

Two of Regan Linney's eight nominations - his solo strike against Eastleigh and the second goal of his hat trick at Fylde - finished second and third in the voting.

Club People of the Year

We thank Ron & Jackie Gallimore for all their hard work on a matchday and for helping to keep our Wednesday lunchtime warm space group going almost every week of the year. A well-deserved prize celebrating two hugely important club volunteers.

Players' Player of the Year

Top scorer Regan Linney was the overwhelming choice of our playing squad to win player of the year. Congratulations Regan on a fantastic campaign.

Supporters' Player of the Year

For the second season running goalie Ethan Ross was voted by the fans as their player of the season. Congratulations Ethan, and to runner-up Regan Linney and Tylor Golden, who finished third in the voting.

A huge thank you to AO for sponsoring the event and to all the businesses who offered prizes to our winners. Thank you to all the staff for making the event a success and, of course, thank you to all our fans who attended and supported the awards.
