Exciting prospect Remi Raymond is continuing his development by following a well-worn path to Wincham Park after joining Witton Albion on loan until January.

Two of his up-and-coming young Altrincham team-mates, Joel Bailey and Louie Fallon, flourished on loan with Witton last season, each of them winning a player-of-the-year award at the end of the campaign.

Now talented midfielder Remi is looking forward to continuing his football education under ex-Alty centre-back Ben Harrison, as Witton look to make an impact on the Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division.

"We are delighted to be continuing our fruitful partnership with Witton Albion and our former player Ben Harrison," said Robins boss Phil Parkinson. "We can all see the development Joel Bailey has gone through after his time with them last season, and he is now entering the next phase of his progression on loan at Bamber Bridge.

"Louie Fallon is on the bench with our first team at the moment, so it's real good experiences for those players, and I'm hoping Remi can go on and make the same impact and benefit Witton just as much as they will benefit him."

After signing his first professional contract at The J.Davidson Stadium in May, following some eye-catching performances for our Academy side last season, Remi was very much part of the Alty first team squad's build-up to the new campaign.

He was given minutes in the pre-season games, and there were further glimpses of the silky touches that explain why he is so highly regarded by Phil and his coaching staff once the campaign got underway.

Now, more senior first-team action beckons in the NPL, and everyone at Alty would like to wish Remi all the very best in his time at the U Lock It Stadium.

Many thanks to GO Interiors Warrington for sponsoring Remi's home, away and training kit this season.
