ALTY welcome Oldham Athletic and the TNT Sports cameras to The J. Davidson Stadium on Easter Monday (3pm) for a crucial clash in the race for Vanarama National League play-offs.

The Robins (5th, 67pts) leapt back into play-off contention with a massive 3-1 away victory against Kidderminster Harriers on Good Friday. Regan Linney’s poacher's finish levelled the scoreline entering the break before Chris Conn-Clarke produced a magical brace to secure our fifth win in seven matches.

Meanwhile, the Latics (9th, 60pts) will be without Mike Fondup on Monday after the striker was sent off during their 3-1 defeat to AFC Fylde at Boundary Park on Good Friday. After enduring a winless streak of six matches, our neighbours now find themselves four points off a play-off spot.

Hear from the Gaffer

Alty finding finishing touches: “To score three against Kidderminster just shows how clinical we are. The way Phil (Brown) has got them going meant that it was always going to be a tough game, but ultimately, our clinical finishing is why we have come out on top.”

Phil’s message to fans ahead of Easter Monday: “Be electric. Make sure the stadium is bouncing from the minute we walk out. I know I am always asking a lot, but rather than having that extra beer, get out onto the terraces at quarter-to-three when all the lads are coming out. Give them something to be excited about as everyone is going to be tired (after four games in ten days).”

Last time out against Oldham Athletic

Oldham 2-2 Altrincham (Justin Amaluzor 16’, Chris Conn-Clarke 36’)

Last October – Altrincham extended their unbeaten streak in the Vanarama National League to nine games after sharing a point with Oldham Athletic in a 2-2 thriller at Boundary Park.

Two first-half goals from the Robins, including a diving header from Justin Amaluzor to open the scoring, flirted with the idea of taking all three points - but a resolute Latics responded well to earn a draw.
