Picture perfect - here's how all the drama unfolded at Woking, frame by frame!
Club photographer Jonathan Moore was on hand to record all the relevant moments as Altrincham turned on the style to make it four points from their opening two games with an outstanding 3-2 win over last season's fourth-placed team Woking at The Laithwaite Community Stadium.
Here, we present a selection from Jonathan's matchday portfolio, reflecting on how the Robins went ahead after only six minutes and then absorbed the blow of conceding twice to level through Matty Kosylo and deservedly seal the points with Regan Linney's second goal of the afternoon in the second half.
If you fail to prepare, prepare to fail, as the saying goes, but there's no chance of that with the Robins. It's the usual meticulous preparation for Phil Parkinson's players as they are put through their paces shortly before kick-off.
"Right lads, we know what the gaffer expects - let's make sure we deliver." One final pep talk in the huddle before the match gets underway.
Goal coming up as Regan Linney manoeuvres enough space to fire in a shot that..
..beats the Woking keeper all ends up to give Alty an early lead.
Regal Regan - Alty's king of the goalscorers leaps for joy, with Justin Amaluzor about to add his congratulations.
Oh no you don't! Woking try to launch an attack, but they've got to get past Isaac Marriott first - no easy task, that.
Kossy in full flow. By common consent, Matty Kosylo's return to full fitness has felt like the equivalent of another new signing, and here he is doing what he does best - running at defenders and making their lives a misery.
Another goal coming up, as Regan spots Kossy (left of picture) and slides the ball to him for a finish that...
... again leaves the keeper wishing he was somewhere else as Kossy's exquisite curler flies into the top corner to haul Alty level at 2-2.
Cue celebrations as Kossy makes his way towards some of the travelling Alty fans who are already saluting his cracking goal.
Could there be a winner? Of course there could, with the mood Regan is in, and the Alty frontrunner's predatory instincts were to the fore again as he slid this unerring shot beyond the reach of the keeper to make it 3-2 to the Robins.
Put it there, pal! A delighted Regan is congratulated by an equally-ecstatic Kossy as the Robins head for a notable victory.
Nervy last few moments? Hardly! Never in doubt, from the look of these travelling Alty fans, as the Robins see the game out with few real alarms.
Thumbs up from Ethan Ross for a thoroughly professional job from all those in front of him, though, to be fair...
... Alty's on-loan keeper looked the part himself, showing a safe pair of hands whenever called on and producing a superb save from a free-kick in stoppage time.
Parky's pleased, and why not? Game over, job done and now it's on to White Rose territory on Tuesday night for what is sure to be another tough test against York City.
