Anthony Forde signs permanent deal with the Robins
We're delighted to announce wing-back Anthony Forde as the latest player to sign for Alty in January, with the 32-year-old heading for The J.Davidson Stadium as a free agent on an 18-month contract.
The fourth new face for the Robins' squad in the last week, Anthony goes straight into contention to face Hartlepool United in the Enterprise National League on Saturday.
"I'm delighted to have Anthony with us," said manager Neil Gibson. "Obviously he's played at a much higher level over the last few years, has a very strong playing CV and been part of a very successful Wrexham side, winning National League and League Two promotions.
"He'll bring that experience, as well as leadership qualities, into the group and his creative ability down the right side will give us more options. He's the type of player we want to bring into the building, with that large amount of EFL experience, he's a fantastic signing for the football club and we're delighted to get him over the line."

A former Ireland youth international who made his senior breakthrough with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, Anthony has since made over 400 appearances across the top five divisions in English football.
He spent nine seasons in League One and the Championship with Walsall, Rotherham United and Oxford United before winning the National League title with Wrexham in 2023.
After also being part of the Red Dragons' squad that won promotion from League Two a year later, our latest signing finished last season in League One making 11 appearances for Burton Albion.
Watch this space for our first in-depth AltyTV interview with Anthony coming up later in the week!
