Tom Baker on board as chief scout
Phil Parkinson has appointed former Trafford manager, Tom Baker, as chief scout.
Tom's playing career started as a trainee at Barnsley and he played for FC Halifax Town, Bradford Park Avenue, Scarborough, Gainsborough Trinity, Ashton United and Chorley, before injury curtailed his playing career.
The Mancunian was just 30 when he took over from the retiring Graham Heathcote, as manager of Trafford and he was at the helm at Shawe View for over five years, stepping down during the covid pandemic.
Brian Flynn sat down with Tom for Alty TV earlier this week.
