Reporting To Kit Manager

Time Commitment Tuesday/Wednesday evenings, Saturday matchdays and some evening/day work before a match

Role Summary

Altrincham Football Club is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our backroom team as a Volunteer Assistant Kit Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to get behind the scenes of a professional football club and play a vital role in the matchday experience.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Head Kit Manager to ensure the squad is fully prepared for every match.

• Matchday Prep: Assist in setting up the dressing rooms (home and away) with playing kits, training gear, and equipment
• Kit Care: Help organize, hang, and layout individual player kits and accessories
• Game-Time Support: Manage equipment during warm-ups and provide assistance during half-time and full-time transitions
• Away Travel: Travel with the team to away fixtures (transport provided from the stadium)
• Post-Match Logistics: Assist in collecting used kit and ensuring all equipment is accounted for and packed away

• Reliability: You are punctual and can be counted on, especially during the high-pressure environment of matchdays
• Flexibility: While we work around your schedule, availability for evening and weekend fixtures is essential
• Team Player: You have a "can do" attitude and a touch of wit to handle the dressing room banter
• Confidentiality & Discretion: You must maintain strict confidentiality regarding team selection, tactics, player interactions, and any sensitive club information
