Lewis Baines

Another significant addition to the Alty ranks in the summer of 2022 after arriving from Chorley, where his form was such that it brought him international honours.

A strong, powerful left-sided defender who can operate at centre-half or left-back, Lewis was capped by England C against Wales C at Caernarfon towards the end of the 2021-22 campaign. Voted players’ player-of-the-year at Chorley for 21-22.

An almost ever-present in 23/24 season for Alty, Lewis has chipped in with some memorable goals alongside a commanding presence in the Robins back-line.
