Altrincham FC Women is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Edwards as its first Media and Comms Officer.

Ben is a 2nd Year Multimedia Sports Journalism student at The University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) and brings with him four years of experience as Media Manager at Bridlington Town FC.

Since joining the media team in September, Ben has shown a high level of commitment to supporting both Altrincham FC and Altrincham FC Women and is ideally placed to continue the rapid communications and media progress that has been made by Altrincham FC Women, since coming under the umbrella of Altrincham FC earlier this year.

In addition to managing media for Altrincham FC Women, Ben will continue to be a part of the Altrincham FC media team and has also recently commenced a role with Alan March Sport, providing commentary on Wrexham games for an audio descriptive commentary service.
