Tuesday night brings the challenge of Wealdstone

A third home game in eight days for the Robins on Tuesday as we welcome Wealdstone to The J.Davidson Stadium (kick-off 7:45pm).

Neil Gibson's men will be looking for a turnaround in fortunes following a difficult result against Yeovil Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Opposition

Our opponents picked up a draw on their travels on Saturday against Eastleigh, with the DAZN feature game finishing 2-2 on the south coast.

Sam Cox's side current reside in 11th place in the Enterprise National League standings, just five points above Alty, but with three games in hand.

Hear It From The Gaffer

"We've got to get back to those clean sheets and not making mistakes, and when we're dominating the ball our final third has got to be better to enable us to win games."

Security on Matchdays

Working closely with our stewarding team, and in consultation with Greater Manchester Police, we are carrying out screening procedures to prevent potential weapons or prohibited items from entering the ground. These checks are now becoming common practice at football stadiums across the country and are part of our shared responsibility to protect each other.

The introduction of Martyn’s Law (Terrorism Protection of Premises Act 2025) has also placed greater emphasis on the legal duty of venues like ours to assess risks and have robust safety plans in place. While much of this reflects what we already do, it reinforces the need for vigilance and preparation in today’s world.

We completely understand that supporters may sometimes feel these checks go too far. However, we want to be clear: safety will always come first. Our goal is to provide the best possible matchday experience in a safe and welcoming environment for all.

On behalf of the club, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we put these important measures into practice.
