Supporters beat Staff in Mark Eckersall Trophy match
Union Golf Road Supporters secured a resounding victory on Saturday as they beat Altrincham FC Staff/Volunteers 10-4 to secure the Mark Eckersall Trophy.
The game - played in memory of huge Alty fan Mark Eckersall, who passed away in 2020 - was one of a number of activities that made up a Family Fun Day event on Moss Lane.

Rocky Robin and Bear, The AO Teddy, were on hand to try and stop the very best penalty efforts our juniors had to offer, before Altrincham FC Juniors' coaches took to the pitch for a final match of the day, which saw the boys coaching team beat the girls coaching team 6-5.
Many thanks to everyone who came down to take part and support the event, and to those who bought golden goal and raffle tickets (raising over £500), of which all prizes - including a signed Alty football and signed yellow Alty shirt from the win at Truro City in November - were claimed.
We now head into the pitch renovation part of the summer, ahead of football returning to The J.Davidson Stadium towards the end of July.
