Alty are back on the road this weekend as we travel to the ARMCO Arena to face Solihull Moors in the Vanarama National League (3pm).
Both teams head into Saturday’s fixture having lost their last game. The Robins are still in search of the first win of the season, having been defeated by top of the table Chesterfield at The J.Davidson Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday. Solihull Moors meanwhile lost their first game of the season when they faced Notts County, however, having lost just one of their opening six games they currently sit in 6th place in the league table.
This fixture last year was impact heavily by two red cards for Kevin Berkoe and Matty Kosylo – the latter’s red card was subsequently overturned. Alty will be hoping for more luck in that department at the very least this time around.

About The Opposition
Solihull Moors suffered their first defeat of the Vanarama National League campaign, when they lost to Notts County at the weekend.
It was all square at half-time, however, a second half goal from Adam Chicksen proved to be the matchwinner and Solihull Moors left Meadow Lane without all three points.
However, they will look to bounce-back this weekend and replicate their early season form, as a win would see them climb further up the Vanarama National League table.
Their attacking options were strong last year with Joe Sbarra and Andrew Dallas two of the leading scorers in the division. Those have been strengthened even further by the significant investment in Josh Kelly from Maidenhead and Alex Reid from Stockport who help form one of the most dangerous attacks in the league.
