Central defender Lewis Baines has joined fellow Enterprise National League side Solihull Moors on loan through to the end of the season.

The 27-year-old joined the Robins from Chorley in the summer of 2022, and has made nearly 150 starts for the club - 21 during this season - while captaining Alty for the last 18 months.

"Bainesy's been a fantastic servant of the football club over the last three and half years," said manager Neil Gibson. "He played an important part in us picking up results when we first took over in late October and his attitude since we took over has been really good.

"We wish him all the best with his loan move to Solihull."
