THE Vanarama National League have confirmed some key dates for the upcoming 2024/25 season - which is now just 61 days away.

The eagerly anticipated Fixture Release Day has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th, ahead of one of the most exciting days of the season - Opening Day -on Saturday, August 10th.

Festive fixtures will take place on Saturday, December 21st, Boxing Day (Thursday, December 26th) AND New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1st) January) with clubs able to switch to New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31st) if both clubs reach an agreement to do so.

Historically, the Christmas and New Year schedules are reversed, in that the Boxing Day fixtures are reversed with New Year Day fixtures, therefore playing the same team in a close timeframe.

After surveying all clubs, the National League Board agreed that the League will
reverse next season’s Boxing Day fixtures with Good Friday and New Year with
Easter Monday.

The National League's Final Day will be on Monday, May 5th.
