Joseph's Challenge - No Limits - Week 13
WE'RE on to Week 13 of Joseph's Challenge - No Limits - as we move within a month of the Challenge beginning.
This week Joseph attended Cloverlea Primary School with Tom and Matty from Altrincham FC Community Sports for an assembly with Year 2 to talk about the No Limits challenge. This was followed by a sports session outside which included some fun games around spatial awareness with a superhero angle.
Joseph and his Dad then enjoyed a great trip to Nottingham with a tour of Notts County courtesy of their Chaplain, Liam O’Boyle, who played football with Joseph’s Dad Phil many years ago at Nottingham University.
They also met up with Sam Crawford who runs the Foundation there. This was followed by a visit to Reach, an incredible charity set up by the parents of children with Down Syndrome.
Saturday saw Joseph attending one of his favourite events – cricket – a Test Match at Trent Bridge between England and West Indies before completing his first ever 10k on Sunday, with his Dad – it wasn’t quick but he got there!!!
