  • Altrincham v Chester

It’s been a very tough start for the promoted Robins, who have been beaten by the two teams that sit first and second in the early table and gaining a well-deserved point at Macclesfield, who we will meet again in the Adobe Women's FA Cup on Sunday September 7, kick-off 2pm at The J.Davidson Stadium.

Last Sunday’s 4-1 defeat against Manchester Laces leaves Daryll Abrahams’ young side at the foot of the table, having already completed a sixth of the league campaign.

Laces dominated the first half and deserved their three-goal lead at the interval. Despite conceding a fourth goal before the hour mark, Alty competed well in an encouraging second half display and scored an excellent goal in added time when Kira Brooke-Saycell delivered a superb cross from the left that was volleyed in at full stretch by Georgia McKnight, her first goal in Alty colours.
