Match Day Crowd Management
FC Halifax Town have been given the Venditan Chequers End, along with a small section of seating in the Family Stand, with their allocation totalling 956 tickets. Away tickets are only available from FC Halifax Town and any away supporter buying a ticket in any Home section will be refused admission and no refund will be given.

This will leave 4,170 tickets for home fans allocated the Catax Popular Side, the Venditan Golf Road Terrace, and the Moss Lane side consisting of the seated Main Stand and standing terrace in front of the Community Sports Hall (CSH).

The Family Stand will be reserved for Home fans who have booked hospitality or sponsorship packages.

Tickets to each part of the ground will be sold separately - you will select from which part of the ground you will watch the game, and access will be strictly monitored.

Supporters in the Golf Road will be able to access the facilities in the CSH and snack bar, though no other movement around the ground will be possible. Due to safety regulation, there will be no access in either direction from the Popular Side to the Golf Road, for example.

The capacity of each part of the ground available to home fans is as follows;

Stand Capacity Entrance
Golf Road End (Standing) 1,350 Golf Road Turnstiles 7-10 only
Popular Side (Standing) 1,650 Golf Road Turnstiles 11-13 only
Main Stand / CSH (Seating/Standing) 1,180 Moss Lane Turnstiles 5-6 only

Access and management of the Golf Road will be through wristbands and supporters will be issued with a wrist band on entry to the ground. This will allow you to go into the CSH and return to the Golf Road terrace.  Only those with wristbands will be able to access the terrace behind the goal.

Crowd marshals will be in place outside the ground to guide spectators to the correct turnstiles as needed.  Standing will be allowed against the pitch perimeter fence one deep in front of the CSH and along the length of the Popular Side.

Additional facilities will be made available on the Pop Side , including further toilets and food and drink.  The Fan Zone will only be available for fans on the Pop Side.

Turnstiles will open at 13:00, half an hour earlier than usual and we advise all of you to get down to The J. Davidson Stadium as early as possible.

Bill Waterson, Altrincham FC Co-Chairman adds, “It is a sign of how far we’ve progressed as a club that we are regularly attracting larger crowds and we anticipate that the semi-final will be another such occasion.

It will also be the first time that we implement specific allocated areas of the stadium that restrict movement for home fans for a big crowd, so we ask supporters to arrive in a timely manner to help us ensure everyone is comfortably inside the stadium for kick off.

Please be patient with club and security staff before, during and after the game itself as we are entering new territory here. These are regulated security measures, and our number one priority is to ensure a safe and enjoyable occasion for all attendees.”
