FA Trophy Semi Final | Important Supporter Information & FAQ

Altrincham v FC Halifax Town
FA Trophy Semi Final | Saturday 1st April
Important Supporter Information & FAQ

With a sell out crowd anticipated at The J.Davidson Stadium this Saturday, and supporters eagerly awaiting our first FA Trophy Semi Final in over 30 years, we have answered a number of frequently asked questions that the club have received over the past week.

Will there be tickets available on the day?
The fixture is All-Ticket with no cash purchase at the Turnstile. At the time of publication, we have a limited number of tickets available for purchase and therefore expect to sell-out before the day of the game. However, if any tickets are remaining on Saturday, then the only way to purchase these will be online only with tickets delivered electronically to your device.

Entering The Stadium

What time does the stadium open?
All turnstiles for home and away supporters will open at 1pm.

Which turnstile do I go to?
The number of the turnstile which you should enter is clearly marked on your ticket. All turnstiles are designated for tickets purchased online only, and you can find a map of the stadium below. Please have your tickets ready to be scanned.

Supporters are urged to download their tickets to their mobile phone's digital wallets before arriving at The J.Davidson Stadium. We are aware of mobile signal issues in the area, and this may cause issues with accessing emails when in the queue at the ground. Tickets can also be printed and brought to the turnstile.

Will there be long queues to enter the stadium?
Our focus will be on the safety of all supporters attending the fixture and we would emphasise the importance of arriving at the stadium early. Congestion is expected given the number of tickets sold, and the number of turnstiles available. Arriving and entering the ground early will help balance the flow and minimise the queue times.

Inside the Stadium

Can I move freely within the stadium?
Unlike normal home matches at The J.Davidson Stadium, movement throughout the stadium is restricted to the area you have purchased your ticket for. Wristbands will be provided to fans and those, along with your tickets, will be required to show stewards as you move around the allocated areas of the ground.

If I am in the Popular Side, what food and drink options will I have?
The Fan Zone will be open for supporters in the Popular Side of the stadium. We are planning to have additional, potentially mobile, catering options and will communicate this via our social media channels ahead of kick-off.

Will there be additional toilet facilities around the stadium?
We have installed new temporary toilets to reduce the burden on the main facilities. There are two new toilets between the Sponsor's Lounge and the Main Stand and this has been organised to avoid excessive crossing of the main stand throughout the game.

I bought a ticket for the Main Stand, can I reserve a seat?
No, seating will be unreserved for this fixture, so please ensure you get into the ground early if you want to choose a preferred seat. We kindly request supporters avoid leaving single seats available

Will the Man City vs Liverpool game be shown in the Community Sports Hall?Yes, but only from 1pm onwards, and only available to those supporters who have purchased a ticket for the Main Stand or Golf Road, both of which have access to the CSH.

Is there a match day programme available for this game?
Yes and we will endeavour to make them available in all parts of the ground. We strongly recommend buying online in advance here to ensure you get your copy as we fully expect them to sell out on Saturday.

Rules of the Stadium

Is it acceptable to run on to the pitch at full-time or any other time during the day?
The club were reprimanded following the Wrexham match after dozens of spectators ran on to the pitch and the repercussions if that happens again will be severe. It is a criminal offence to enter the field of play and we respectfully ask all spectators to abide by the law and terms and conditions of entering the stadium.

Dangerous Items
Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, laser devices, air horns, knives, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles, dangerous or hazardous items, and any articles that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety are not permitted within the Stadium. Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry or ejected from the Stadium.

Foul or abusive language / Racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse
The use of threatening, foul or abusive language or behaviour is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Stadium. The Club may also impose a ban for one or more matches and/or consider the removal of season ticket(s) and/or club membership for any such behaviour.

Racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse, chanting or harassment is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Stadium. Any person receiving an Official Caution or found guilty in a Court of Law of an offence involving racist behaviour or abuse against any spectator, official or player will be banned for an indefinite period from all future football matches at the Stadium.
