Alty and Harborough go to replay after dramatic finale

Altrincham 2 Harborough 2

Alty will head for Market Harborough on Tuesday evening after surrendering a two-goal lead on a dramatic afternoon of Emirates FA Cup football at The J.Davidson Stadium.

The Fourth Round Qualifying tie swung wildly late on after the Robins had built an assured lead through goals from Kahrel Reddin and Jimmy Knowles.

Returning from a three-game ban, winger Reddin was on the spot to stab home on 38 minutes after Tylor Golden got to the byline and crossed low into the six yard box.

Less than five minutes into the second half and the lead had been doubled. This time it was Reddin and Isaac Marriott combining down the right before top scorer Knowles found space inside the six yard box to tap home.

That looked to be that, but when Connor Kennedy headed home with three minutes remaining the visitors were back in the tie.

Then, deep into stoppage time, substitute Elliot Putman bundled home to secure a midweek replay for the Southern League Premier Central leaders.
