WE are delighted to announce Eddy Jones has agreed a contract extension, which will see the full-back continue plying his trade for the Robins.
The 22-year-old's fine form this season has seen him feature on 23 occasions for Alty, with the Welsh under-21 international netting his only goal of the season so far against Oxford City, where he pounced onto a Chris Conn-Clarke cross to fire Altrincham into lead in the dying stages of the game to secure all three points.
"I'm really happy to be signing a new contract with the club. I love playing for Altrincham" - Eddy Jones

Jones signed for the Robins on a permanent deal from Stoke City in 2023 on the back of two successful previous loan spells at the club, and since then the full-back has been an integral part of Phil Parkinson’s side that have climbed up the Vanarama National League Table.
"I'm really pleased that Eddy has extended his contract with us. He's been one of our top performers over the last two seasons, and has demonstrated the qualities in people and players that we look for - dedication, honesty and talent" - Phil Parkinson
A big thank you to Terry Surridge, Rogers McHugh Recruitment and Val & Bernie Corkhill for sponsoring Eddy for the 2023/24 campaign.
