Following the postponement of Saturday’s fixture against Morecambe, the Club are aware of several incidents of disorder involving a small minority of supporters outside the stadium environs.

Today, the club has met with Greater Manchester Police, following which a criminal investigation has begun.

Once the investigation has concluded, any individuals identified committing offences may face criminal action.

The Club has a zero-tolerance approach to this level of anti-social behaviour and any individuals identified will face an immediate ban from fixtures at The J Davidson Stadium and travel on official coaches to away fixtures.
