Boost for Alty's talent production line as ace analyst James comes on board
Altrincham are delighted to announce that James Maddock has joined the club as analyst for the Reserves and Academy.
James' input has proved hugely beneficial in recent weeks, in terms of pre-match information on the teams we have been up against and individual data for the players.
Previously with Northwich Victoria, he has been attending games and using the club's Veo camera equipment to breakdown passages of play in a way that has been greatly appreciated by the coaching staff.
In addition, he attended Trafford College this week to deliver a performance analysis session to our Academy players.
Several clubs were vying for James’ skill set, and the club are delighted to have secured his services for this season.
“James has been unbelievable since he arrived," said Reserves boss Ross Speight. "The feedback and information he is giving me, the coaches and the players has been invaluable.
"The introduction of an analyst for our young players is another massive step forward for their development, and it’s another stone unturned to help the players achieve their potential.”
