Altrincham FC Women enjoyed the most successful season in their history last campaign, earning a very respectable fifth-placed finish in the North West Women’s Regional League Division One South. 

Only once have the Robins had a higher league finish, an impressive achievement on their first season back at step six.

Highlights such as a 4-2 home victory over champions Nantwich Town Women made it a season to remember, though it was the remarkable Adobe Women’s FA Cup run that made the headlines.

Previously, Alty had only ever reached the second qualifying round, though Daryll  Abrahams’ side defied all expectations with five wins in the competition to become the lowest ranked side remaining in the third round, and only the second ever tier six team to reach that stage.

Moments such as Nat Lowe’s late winner vs Ponteland United Women and a third round tie against York City Ladies at the J.Davidson Stadium created memories to cherish.

The launch of an Elite U18 side, managed by Spencer O’Connor also proved to be a big success, with the team finishing second in the Cheshire Women & Youth Football
League U18 Premier Division, whilst also reaching two semi-finals.

The pathway is thriving and there for all to see, with several Elite U18 players featuring for the first team. Millie Kullu is a perfect example, having progressed from Altrincham Juniors all the way to the first team.

Both teams celebrated the achievements of 2025/26 with a social gathering at Nell’s Pizza and Lane 7 at the start of July, which included the End of Season Awards.
