Altrincham Women are on the road again with a trip to Crill Park to take on Atherton Laburnum Rovers Ladies in the North West Women's Regional League, Division One Central (2pm kick-off)

Daryll Abrahams' side will be looking to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season.

Last Time Out

After a perfect nine points from the first three games, the Robins suffered their first defeat last Sunday at the hands of a strong Rochdale side. The Dale took the lead after just 22 seconds but Georgia McKnight equalised just minutes later.

Rochdale's winner came in the 83rd minute as the home side picked up a 2-1 victory.

The Laburnums

Despite competing in different divisions last season, the Robins met Atherton in their historic Women's FA Cup run, defeating them 3-2 in the second qualifying round.

The Laburnums finished fourth in Division One Central last season with 34 points, though may be disappointed with their start to the campaign.

A victory in their most recent game, 3-2 over Stockport County, was their first in the league this season, have lost their opening four.

Crilly Park

Crilly Park is a short walk from Atherton train station for those travelling on public transport. Unfortunately, there will be no updates on social media or radio commentary, so the best way to keep up with the action is to be there in person.

Elite U18s

Confidence is high for Spencer O'Connor's side with three big wins on the bounce. They'll also hit the road this Sunday with a trip to Crewe FC Hub to take on Crewe U18 Jaguars for a 3pm kick-off in the Cheshire Women & Youth Football League, u18 Division East.

Come On You Robins!!!
