Altrincham were on the verge of another notable National League win after going 2-1 up, only for the visitors to force a draw with a late equaliser.

In the first half, Alty did an amazing job applying pressure to the opposition with consecutive attacks on goal and were unlucky not to score.

Despite their constant pressure, the Robins were still lacking the goal that would have given them a deserved lead at half-time.

In the second half, the opposition came out with a new look, flipping the game and putting the Robins momentarily on the back foot.

However, after a couple of substitutions, the Robins finally managed to score, with Harley Renshaw producing a great shot to make it 1–0.

Despite persistent pressure from the young Robins the opposition capitalised on a lapse of concentration and equalised to make the score 1–1.

Despite conceding, the Robins continued to push forward and dominate the ball, sending waves of attack forward consistently.

This attacking intent led to a second Alty goal as Gbolagun jumped on the press and scored to put his side back in front.

With the score now 2–1 and the game nearing its end, the opposition were awarded a free-kick in their own half in what represented one final chance to square matters for a second time.

After taking an unsuspected short free-kick, they whipped a long delivery into the box and won the second ball, which resulted in a goal.
