Zak's back! Alty recall for goal ace Goodson

Zak Goodson has been recalled from his latest loan spell to increase manager Phil Parkinson's selection choices for the final week of Altrincham's 2022-23 campaign.
Alty's versatile young forward, who can operate on the wing or through the middle, has most recently been on loan at Spennymoor Town after previously helping to bolster Boston United's quest to climb clear of relegation trouble in the Vanarama National League North earlier this season.
Renowned as a clinical finisher as well as creative presence up front, Zak will be in Alty's squad for our final National League home game of the season against Torquay United at The J.Davidson Stadium this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
In addition, he will provide the Robins with a valuable extra option for their Cheshire Senior Cup final with Congleton Town at The J.Davidson Stadium on Thursday, kicking off at 7.45pm, and will also be available when the curtain comes down on another campaign away to Aldershot next Saturday.
Signed from Ilkeston Town last August after helping them clinch the Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands title, Zak provided a glimpse of his match-winning flair by equalising from the edge of the area in the last minute of Alty's Isuzu FA Trophy tie with Wrexham and then following up with a nerveless spot-kick (pictured) in the ensuing penalty shoot-out triumph.
Welcome back, Zak, and all the best for the next seven days!
