We're off to Kent this weekend

After four consecutive home fixtures, Alty return to the road with a journey to Kent to face Ebbsfleet United at the Kuflink Stadium in the Vanarama National League on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
Setting the Scene
Alty were unable to make their dominance count in their previous National League fixture as we drew 1-1 with Solihull Moors.
A high-quality finish from Regan Linney after cutting in from the left-hand side gave Alty a first-half lead, but a number of missed opportunities allowed Solihull back into the game. Joe Dodoo converted a penalty in the 52nd minute, and after a controversial red card for Justin Amaluzor on the hour mark, the game ended level.
The extra point did see us rise to 8th, however, just one place behind Rochdale in the final play-off spot. Our next opponents are the first team in the 2024/25 season to have relegation confirmed, as they sit in 24th with 18 points.
The Fleet have struggled all season, winning just two of their 39 games so far. They’re the team who has scored the least and conceded the most in the division, but after winning four points in their previous two games, they will provide a tough test for Alty.
The thoughts of Phil Parkinson
“We’re fighting, I hope everyone can see that. We’re not rolling over, we could easily feel sorry for ourselves now. Everyone, please still turn up for us, we need you. I know it’s a big ask financially to keep turning Saturday, Tuesday, but when we have them final few home games, please get as many people here as you can because it makes such a big difference.
“The players are going to the end for you, we’re going to the end. There’s no resting up, there’s no thinking when’s the end of the season, we want to be in it until that final game. If we can nick one of them playoff places, then I really fancy us to go on from there.”
