It is the terrace where voices are raised the highest, and the club are delighted to announce that the Golf Road End has a new dedicated sponsor after local electrical and mechanical specialists Repower Services agreed a deal to have their name in front of it.

Often hailed by manager Phil Parkinson as "our 12th man", a packed Golf Road End in full voice is a sight and sound to behold, and it has now been topped off by a smartly-designed new board, running centrally across the roof, bearing the name of its new benefactor.

Everyone at the club would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to our new Wilmslow-based partners and hope they are as pleased as we are that our famous terrace behind the goal will now officially be known as the Repower Golf Road End.

It's always hugely gratifying when a thriving business from the local area join forces with us, and Repower Services certainly belong in that category.

Launched with a mission statement to provide unrivalled but affordable electrical and mechanical services to customers in an industry they know inside out, they have gone from strength to strength in recent years by building a team of experts who are passionate about delivering on that initial promise.

They saw a mirror image in the strides Alty have taken on and off the pitch over the past few seasons, and after aligning with us by putting their name to the Golf Road End, they said:

Speaking on behalf of the club, Chief Executive Sam Mackenzie said:
