Thanks to Add People, The J.Davidson Stadium gets a scoreboard!
Altrincham FC and Add People are delighted to announce the addition of a new scoreboard to The J.Davidson Stadium following its successful installation this afternoon.
The new scoreboard was installed by LEDsynergy and will be situated in the corner between the ‘Popular Side’ and The Venditan Terrace away end.
Coming just weeks after we announced Add People as our latest club sponsors, the installation celebrates the beginning of what we know will be a positive and beneficial relationship with our Moss Lane neighbours. The installation would not have been possible without their generosity in covering the cost of the work, and so our gratitude goes to them for all of their help and support on this project.
Peter Marshall, Chief Marketing Officer at Add People comments: “Our aim is for the scoreboard to become a distinct feature within the stadium - improving the match day experience and increasing the commercial opportunities for the club and local businesses.
The scoreboard opens up a vast range of new advertising possibilities for small businesses and we're really excited to play a part in that."
The introduction of a scoreboard to The J.Davidson Stadium has been long overdue. It will allow for better communication of key match day updates during games, and serve as a new commercial asset as we continue to explore methods of growing our budget to compete at the upper end of the Vanarama National League.
Sam Mackenzie, our Director of Partnerships & Sponsors, adds: “As we find new commercial partnerships the opportunities open to us expand greatly.
This is one of the most exciting initiatives we have had, commercially. Our match day experience is enhanced and we have an opportunity to increase our revenue stream.”
It is hoped that the scoreboard will be in operation for a test-run during tonight’s international encounter at The J.Davidson Stadium, where England C take on Wales C. Tickets and information can be found here.
The installation was recorded by Mark Bennett of Alty TV and it is hoped that we can provide you with a time-lapse video of the works in the coming days.
