Oldham Athletic (h) ticket details
ALTRINCHAM Football Club are delighted to announce that tickets for home fans only for our Easter Monday 1st April clash with Oldham Athletic, kick-off 3pm, will go on sale from 9am tomorrow morning.
The fixture will be ALL TICKET and tickets must therefore be purchased in advance. All tickets will be electronic, and no paper tickets will be available, nor will it be possible to pay on the gate. We are expecting a bumper crowd for this game as we continue our pursuit of a place in the play-offs, against our neighbours who harbour similar promotion ambitions.
We have already given Oldham Athletic 1,000 tickets, for the Venditan Chequers End and for the away section of the family stand. This therefore gives us up to 4,000 tickets for home fans on the Popular Side, Golf Road End, Main Stand and Community Sports Hall terrace. The Family Stand is already sold out with those taking hospitality in the Mornflake Sponsors’ Lounge for the game.
We will be following the example of last season’s FA Trophy semi-final and selling tickets by section of the ground. To reiterate - this means there will be no free circulation around the ground on Easter Monday, and you will have to specify which part of the ground you will occupy on match day. Further logistical details on which turnstile to use and so on will be issued nearer the time.
We must stress that any tickets on sale are for HOME FANS ONLY – any Oldham Athletic fan purchasing a ticket in any of the home sections will be refused admission, or ejected from the ground, and no refunds will be given. A decision will be taken on whether to issue additional capacity to the Latics on Sunday 24th March.
If you have bought an e-ticket from us before or have bought something in our online store, you will be receiving an email with a private link to purchase tickets for the Easter Monday fixture. Remember, you will be asked to select which part of the ground you want to watch the game from:
- Venditan Golf Road End
- Benchmark Popular Side
- Community Sports Hall Terrace
- Atlantic Timber Main Stand
Supporters on the Golf Road will be given a wristband that will allow them to regain access to the terrace after food and beverage purchase and use of facilities. Additional toilet facilities will be in place on the day to cater for the larger than usual crowd. The Fan Zone facilities will be reserved for those fans on the Popular Side during the game.
Season Ticket holders and members of the Business Club will be contacted by email for you to confirm your choice of section of the ground in the coming days. Season Tickets and Business Club tickets will be valid for the fixture, and we want to make sure we are managing your preference within the overall capacity of the stadium and its component parts.
The process for Junior Season Tickets is still being finalised and will be announced later this week.
There will be regular updates from the club between now and matchday, and remember we have three home matches between now and Oldham – York City are our visitors tomorrow 12th March (buy tickets), we welcome Gateshead here for Non-League Day on Saturday 23rd March (buy tickets) and the following Tuesday 26th March when we entertain Wealdstone (buy tickets).
