It's Essex for the Robins this weekend
Altrincham take on Braintree Town at the Rare Breed Meat Co. Stadium on Saturday (3pm) with interim management duo Neil Gibson and Lee Jones taking charge of their first game in the Robins dugout.
A first Enterprise National League win since early September will be most pressing as Alty look to pull away from the bottom four with a third of the 2025/26 season gone.
Our Opponents
Braintree Town find themselves one position and one point behind Alty in the Enterprise National League standings after a difficult start to their second consecutive season in non-league's top flight.
Steve Pitt's side have won of their 15 games in the league so far, scoring just 13 times - second lowest in the division after Brackley Town.
The Iron have won twice in the National League Cup, however, and, like Alty, made it through to the Emirates FA Cup First Round where they face an Essex derby against Chelmsford City.
