Business Club members are in for a festive treat next month after it was decided that December's meeting should take the form of a Christmas networking party at Aty's brand new town centre retail unit.

Each month throughout 2023, members of the Robins' hugely-successful Business Club have met in the Mornflake Sponsors' Lounge at The J.Davidson Stadium for breakfast rolls and hot drinks and an address by a guest speaker who has always been a leading light in their particular field of expertise.

It has proved an ever-popular format, both convivial and informative, but, as is the custom at this time of year, there will be a one-off change to arrangements for December's get-together, with the emphasis very much on creating a festive atmosphere for members and invited guests.

It will be in the afternoon rather than early morning, for one thing, and, for one month only, we are dispensing with a guest speaker and concentrating on giving everyone the maximum opportunity to network and socialise with each other over Christmas-themed refreshments in the club's George Street shop.

Thursday December 14th is the date to make a note of, with mince pies and wine being served from 4pm onwards, and it is hoped the shop in the Stamford Quarter will have a sign up by then to make it easily identified.

In addition, it will be packed with all the latest up-to-date Alty merchandise, available for browsing and purchasing during the course of the networking event. A ready-made solution, in other words, for anyone still seeking the perfect Christmas gift - with such a wide-ranging stock of top-quality replica kits, leisurewear, fashion accessories, household items and even Altrincham FC gin and rum, you can be sure there will be something for everyone.
