You can show your support and donate here.

What we’re doing
The seven person team consisting off Simon Dow, Graham Rowley, Abbie Turner, Matt Phillips, Dan Ratcliffe, Marc Fawcett and William Fawcett will tackle Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, three of Yorkshire’s highest mountains, in a single day.
In doing so, the team will cover 24 miles with over 1500 metres of elevation. A challenge that will test participants mentally and physically, it’s designed to reflect the resilience and teamwork that Alty FC Foundation aim to instill in the people it supports every day.
Why we’re doing it

The funds raised will directly support the Alty FC Foundation's programmes, including:
Youth Engagement and Employability Projects
The Foundation’s No Limits Employability scheme is a 12-week programme tailored to young adults aged 18-25 with Special Educational Needs. A mixture of practical and classroom sessions are offered to participants, with the opportunity for students to join coaching staff and ground staff at the J.Davidson Stadium to gain vital experience.
Mental health and wellbeing initiatives
Alty FC Foundation offer a range of mental and physical health workshops through the Alty Fit Club, such as Senior Exercise on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and yoga sessions, including a weekly pregnancy yoga session and men’s yoga sessions.
Inclusive sports sessions for all ages and abilities
A variety of sports inclusivity sessions are offered by Alty FC Foundation, run by Ability Manager Alex Heywood. Pan Ability Football sessions are available at junior level for 6-16 year olds every Tuesday at Partington Sports Village, whilst the adult team compete in the Cheshire Ability Counts League. Alty Foundation also offer inclusive Junior Pan Ability Multi Sports Sessions.
Support for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups
The successful Sporting Memories initiative, of which Alty FC Foundation are proud to host sessions regularly at the J.Davidson Stadium, aims at tackling conditions such as dementia, depression and loneliness through the power of sport.
Other sessions in support of disadvantaged groups include Sport Social and Alty All In, which are free initiatives allowing young adults with physical or learning difficulties the chance to interact with others who may share their experiences.
Your donations will be greatly received and help strengthen the above programmes offered by Alty FC Foundation.
