As Altrincham FC Women gear up for their most exciting season yet, we are thrilled to invite current players, prospective talent, and new faces to our Open Evening ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Seven regional scouts Actively identifying and recruiting talent across Greater Manchester and beyond

Five medical & performance staff Including physiotherapists, Strength & Conditioning coaches, and a team psychologist — supporting both body and mind

A New Era Begins

This Open Evening marks a major milestone, as Altrincham FC Women move fully under the umbrella of Altrincham Football Club — joining the men’s first team, reserves, and academy in a unified structure.

“There’s never been a better time to invest in the women’s game,” said CEO Sam Mackenzie. “We now offer a complete journey — from age three in our juniors right through to First Team football."

With one of the largest girls’ programmes in the North-West already in place, and Duncan Jones appointed as Head of Women’s Football, the future is bright.

Introducing the Elite U18/Reserve Team

Launching in 2025/26, this new team bridges the crucial gap between youth and senior football.

High-level coaching & competitive match experience

From the Manager: Daryll’s Vision

Newly appointed Women’s First Team Manager, Daryll Abrahams, shared his excitement:

“With such strong grassroots foundations, it’s vital we offer a clear and inspiring pathway to senior football.

"The new U18/Reserve Team is more than a stepping stone — it’s a launchpad for driven, confident athletes.

Our ambition is simple: to create a space where a 7-year-old girl in Altrincham FC Juniors dreams of one day wearing the Altrincham FC Women First Team shirt.”
