Jack Hinchy is our fourth new addition of the summer after the midfielder signed a deal to join Alty ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 23-year-old spent a short time on loan with the Robins from League Two Notts County last season, making seven appearances in red and white.

On his return to Alty, Jack said: "I'm really happy to be back at Altrincham and I'm excited to get going in pre-season ahead of the new campaign.

"I enjoyed my loan spell with the club last season and now I'm looking forward to getting a good start to 2026/27, playing games and, along with the rest of the squad, helping to drive the club forward."

Neil Gibson on the club's fourth signing of the summer: "Really pleased to have Jack back at the football club on a permanent basis. He's someone we really enjoyed working with when we first came into the football club and we're looking forward to working with him again this season.

"I watched him play exceptionally well on loan for Wealdstone at the back end of last season. He's a got a great character and a fantastic attitude - always wanting to learn and improve - and he's a really strong defensive midfielder, who helps build the play and is really good in possession."

Jack’s Background

After three years playing for Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s, which included a loan stint in League One with Shrewsbury Town, Jack move north to join Notts County in 2024.

During the last two seasons, Jack played 34 times for The Magpies, as well as enjoying loans at Alty and Wealdstone.
