Altrincham Football Club is thrilled to announce its plans to develop two high-profile large scale community concerts at The J. Davidson Stadium, Moss Lane, to be staged across one weekend in May 2025.

The proposed community-driven concerts will see Altrincham Football Club working alongside local Festival and Event Organiser; Max Eden of Cheshire Concerts to create an inclusive ‘proudly Altrincham’ weekend event series, focusing on creating a live music experience for the local community to enjoy and most importantly; be a part of!

The proposed concerts will feature headline performances by multi-million record selling artists alongside having the ability to support grassroots musicians and local performers; with these concerts designed to benefit both the local community and economy, offering an unforgettable entertainment experience while showcasing and championing Altrincham and its Football Club as a vibrant cultural hub.

The two concerts, planned across one weekend in May 2025, will bring world-class artists to the heart of Altrincham, aiming to attract thousands of music fans from the local area and beyond. Altrincham FC feels this proposed exciting weekend-event represents a significant opportunity to engage the community and make it even more accessible for the community and local residents to be a part of Altrincham FC.

This event will not only create an exciting weekend of Live Music aimed at residents, it will also generate a significant economic boost for local businesses, restaurants, and shops.

These community concerts are expected to bring increased footfall to Altrincham’s town centre, benefiting local businesses and encouraging new visitors to discover what our area has to offer, with a full event plan worked up to ensure the events minimise any disruption for local residents and maximise a boost for the community.

At the heart of this initiative is the desire to involve the community every step of the way. We recognize the importance of collaboration and are inviting local residents and business owners to take part in shaping these events. To ensure the concerts align with the community’s expectations and priorities, we will be holding a consultation open evening on October 29th, 2024, from 6-8pm in the John King Sponsors Lounge at The J. Davidson Stadium.

This event is open to all, providing a platform for questions, feedback, and ideas, so that together we can create an experience that benefits everyone.
