A highly-versatile, highly-effective operator who won a place in the Academy as a holding midfielder who could play on the right but who, after filling several positions in his debut season, found his niche in defence.

Made the right-back spot his own in the youth team and Reserves last season but also, to underline his versatility, looked comfortable when asked to fill in at centre-back. A real competitor and good going forward.
